Budapest Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years on Váci Road

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to mark the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian news eu taxonomy Scientology community. The anniversary featured a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
